Scope
These rules apply to the movement intake, single private sessions, Foundations start, monthly private packs, semi-private packs, small-group cards, the written program subscription and the twelve-week Craft Block. Coaching time is listed in CAD on the rates page. Studio access during a booked session is part of that rate. This policy opened with the studio in 2026 and is the current version.
Cooling-off
You may cancel a package within seven days of payment if you have not used any session in it. We will return the full amount by the same method you paid. The intake is a separate purchase; cooling-off on a package does not automatically refund an intake that has already been delivered. Write to [email protected] within those seven days and include the payment date.
Partly used packages
Inside the 120-day window you may ask for a refund of unused sessions. Hours already taken are restated at the single private rate of $95 CAD, or $32 CAD for a small-group class. We subtract that restated total, and a $25 CAD administrative deduction, from what you paid; the difference comes back to you. If the restated total plus the deduction is larger than what you paid, no further money is due from you and no refund is issued.
Single sessions
Cancel a paid single twenty-four hours or more before the start and you may have a full refund or a move to a new date. Cancel with less than twenty-four hours’ notice and the session is treated as delivered. A no-show is not refunded. If we cancel and cannot offer a replacement within fourteen days, the session is returned as money.
Movement intake ($140)
If you cancel before the assessment begins, the $140 CAD is returned in full. Once the hour has been run and the written brief has been sent, the intake is complete and is not refunded. If we cancel the intake and cannot rebook within fourteen days, you receive the $140 back.
Written program only ($120 / month)
You may cancel for a full refund of the current month if the first PDF block has not yet been sent. After that PDF goes out, the current month is kept and the subscription stops at the next month. We will not draft a further block once you have written to stop. Two video reviews already used in that month stay used.
Twelve-week Craft Block ($1,980)
If you cancel before the fifth week, unused private sessions are returned at $90 CAD each. Used sessions stay used. After the week-twelve re-test has been delivered, no refund is issued on the block. The written report is part of the block; asking us not to send it does not create a refund. Cooling-off in the first seven days still applies if no session has been used.
Medical or injury stop
If a physician or physiotherapist writes that you should stop training, you may freeze unused sessions for up to ninety days with no deduction, or take a refund of the unused portion with no $25 administrative deduction. Used hours are still restated at the single rate when you choose a refund. Send the letter with your request. This path is for injury or illness, not for a change of diary.
If we cancel
When the studio cancels a session — illness on our side, a building problem, a power cut — we first offer a replacement inside fourteen days. If we cannot offer one, that session is returned as money, even if it sat inside a package. Repeated studio cancellations can be treated as a request to unwind the remaining pack under the partly-used rule, without the $25 deduction.
How to request
Write to [email protected] with your name, the date of payment and the format you bought. We answer within two business days. Approved refunds travel by the same method you used, within ten business days. Interac e-Transfer is usually faster than a card reversal. Debit paid at the desk is returned by e-transfer unless you ask to collect it in studio.
Not refundable
Delivered sessions, no-shows without notice, gift certificates after twelve months, and the portion of a pack used after the 120-day window has ended are not refunded. A freeze must be requested before sessions lapse. Cooling-off does not apply to hours you have already taken. If a rule here and a line on an invoice ever disagree, write to us and we will honour the version that is kinder to you on that point.
