What the rate includes

The number you pay is for coaching time and for the writing that sits around it. Studio access during your booked session is part of that rate; there is no extra floor fee. Remote months include the same journal time, delivered as a PDF and two video reviews.

  • Written block in PDF, copied from the paper journal
  • Floor coaching for the hours in your package
  • Load log for every working set
  • Mid-block revision in week five
  • Re-test session at week twelve
  • E-mail answers within one business day

Scheduling and cancellations

Cancel twenty-four hours or more before a session and the hour goes back into your package at no charge. Cancel later than that, or miss the hour, and the session is used. If the studio cancels — illness on our side, a building issue, a power cut on Fort Street — the session is returned to the package or refunded if you prefer.

Packages stay valid for 120 days from the date of payment. A freeze of up to thirty days is available by e-mail for illness or a trip; write to [email protected] before the unused sessions lapse. After 120 days, leftover sessions expire unless a freeze is already in place. The full money rules live on the refund policy page, including the seven-day cooling-off for unused packages.

Refunds, in short

An unused package can be cancelled within seven days of payment for a full refund. Partly used packages are refunded on unused sessions, with used hours restated at the single rate of $95 (or $32 for a group class) and a $25 administrative deduction. A medical stop with a letter from a physician or physiotherapist can be frozen up to ninety days or refunded on the unused portion without that deduction.

Money and the diary

Do I pay for the intake separately?

Yes. The movement intake is $140 CAD and it is billed on its own, before any package. We do this so you can walk away after the brief if the room is not right, and so the map is paid for even if you later choose the remote format only. Nothing else is charged until you ask for a package and we send an invoice. E-transfer and card are both fine; debit works at the desk on Fort Street.

Can two of us split a semi-private pack?

The $440 CAD eight-pack is priced per person. Two people who train together each hold their own pack, even when they share the hour. That way a missed week only uses one person’s session, and a refund — if you ever need one — is calculated on the hours that person did not use. If a third person joins later, they buy their own pack; we will not split a card three ways after the fact.

What happens to unused sessions?

They stay valid for 120 days from payment. A freeze of up to thirty days can be added by e-mail for a trip or an illness; a medical letter can extend that freeze to ninety days. After the window, leftover sessions expire. If you would rather have the unused hours back as money, the refund policy explains the restatement at the single rate and the $25 deduction, except where a medical stop waives that deduction.

Do you bill my insurance?

We do not. Fitandfocusedlife is a fitness coaching studio, not a regulated health practice, so we cannot submit to an insurer on your behalf. We will give you a plain receipt with the date, the format and the amount in CAD. Some extended-health plans reimburse training when a client submits that receipt themselves; that decision sits with your plan, not with us. We do not diagnose or treat, and a receipt is not a medical claim.

Is there a contract?

There is no term contract and no automatic renewal. You buy a package, it lasts 120 days, and if you want another we write a new invoice. The Craft Block is twelve weeks of work, not a year of obligation. The terms cover booking, the twenty-four hour cancel rule, behaviour on the floor and the fact that we provide coaching rather than medical care. You can stop at the end of any package.
